A BHVR Account issue usually shows up as a missing platform, a reward that never appears, a Twitch Drop that stalls, or an account setting that will not change where you expected it to. The fastest fix is to start in Behaviour's account portal, handle the self-service steps there, and use BHVR Support only for problems the portal cannot finish.
Everything below follows Behaviour's current account, support, cross-progression, rewards, privacy, and terms information verified for July 2026.
1. Start at the BHVR Account portal
- 1.Open https://account.bhvr.com/ in a browser.
- 2.Choose Log in or Create account.
- 3.Use the left-side account navigation to open Account Details, platform connections, Game Library, rewards, Twitch Drops, or Multi-Factor Authentication.
The official account surface is account.bhvr.com. Use it for account settings, linked platforms, the game library, rewards, Twitch Drops, and multi-factor authentication.
For account linking and reward issues, finish the web-portal change first. Then reopen the game and check the account state again.
2. Update your email or nickname
Email changes have a short verification window, so open the new inbox before you begin.
Sign in at account.bhvr.com. Next, open Account Details and click the pencil icon next to your email address. Enter the new email address and choose Confirm.
Copy the verification code from the new email inbox into the verification box within 5 minutes. Then choose Confirm.
For a nickname change, stay in Account Details, click the pencil icon next to the current nickname, enter the new nickname, and choose Save Changes. Behaviour allows one nickname change every 24 hours.
3. Turn on MFA for password accounts
Multi-factor authentication is available for Behaviour Accounts created with an email address and password.
Accounts created through external providers such as Facebook or Google do not show Multi-Factor Authentication in the Behaviour Account portal. Manage security for those accounts through the external provider.
Sign in at account.bhvr.com. After that, open Multi-Factor Authentication and click the toggle button. Check your email for the confirmation code, then enter the confirmation code.
4. Refresh a missing platform library
Use Sync, labeled Refresh in the current portal, when a linked platform's library looks stale or incomplete in your Behaviour Account.
Sign in at account.bhvr.com. From there, open the linked platform account area and click Sync, shown as Refresh in the current portal, under the linked platform. Wait for the confirmation notification, then open the library or reward page again and check the updated platform data.
5. Set up Dead by Daylight cross-progression
Create or sign in to a Behaviour Account at account.bhvr.com. Open the connections page and link each platform account you want attached to the Behaviour Account. Sync the platform accounts.
For Dead by Daylight cross-progression, sign in to a Behaviour Account, link the platform accounts, then sync those platform accounts. Behaviour lists Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch as current cross-progression platforms. Dead by Daylight Mobile is not included.
Check the account carefully before syncing. Behaviour allows one account per platform per Behaviour Account, such as one Steam account and one Epic Games account, not two Steam accounts. Once a Dead by Daylight platform is synced for cross-progression, it cannot be unsynced, and Player Support cannot bypass that restriction.
For Nintendo Switch, update Dead by Daylight first, launch the latest version on the console, then return to account.bhvr.com and set up cross-progression. Stadia is not part of Behaviour's current cross-progression platform list.
6. Remove the wrong provider before sync
A linked provider account can be unlinked before it has been synced for Dead by Daylight cross-progression.
Sign in at account.bhvr.com. Now open the connections page and select the unlink control for the wrong provider account before syncing. Link the correct provider account and confirm the account is the one you want tied to your Behaviour Account before using sync.
Linking a different account from the same platform starts a 60-day waiting period. Re-linking the original provider account has no delay.
7. Repair Twitch Drops delivery
Twitch Drops issues split into four fixes: reconnect Twitch, verify the Twitch email, retry delivery, or restart Dead by Daylight after claiming.
For a reconnect message, sign in at account.bhvr.com, open https://account.bhvr.com/account/my-account/providers, unlink Twitch, then relink Twitch to the correct Behaviour Account.
For Twitch email verification, open Twitch Settings, choose Security and Privacy, use the resend email option, confirm the Twitch account email, then return to Behaviour Account and link Twitch.
For a claimed Drop that has not arrived, sign in to Behaviour Account, open https://account.bhvr.com/twitch/dbd, then use the resync or retry delivery option for the claimed Drops.
If Dead by Daylight was open when you claimed the Drop, close the game, restart it, and check for the Drop again.
When Twitch was linked to the wrong Behaviour Account, submit a support request using the email address used to create the account. Behaviour validates the request and assists so Twitch can later be linked to the correct Behaviour Account.
8. Claim rewards from Game Library
Use the rewards flow in the Behaviour Account portal when you own both The Casting of Frank Stone and Dead by Daylight on eligible linked platforms.
Go to account.bhvr.com and choose Log in or Create account. Link the platform accounts where you own The Casting of Frank Stone and Dead by Daylight. Then open Game Library and select Dead by Daylight.
Open the Rewards tab, find the TCoFS x DbD Rewards, and choose Claim Now. Choose Claim Rewards. Select eligible platforms and choose Next, then choose Get Rewards.
For The Casting of Frank Stone, sign back into the platform account and restart the game after a platform sign-out. Behaviour says the game starts again from the last save point.
9. Escalate unresolved account or privacy requests
Open https://support.bhvr.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Choose Submit a request. Select the issue type that fits: Dead by Daylight, It Has My Face, The Casting of Frank Stone, Meet Your Maker, Hooked On You, Flippin Misfits, Islands of Insight, or Privacy Request.
Use BHVR Support when the portal cannot fix the issue, the wrong platform account is linked, Twitch was connected to the wrong Behaviour Account, rewards still do not appear, or the request involves account cancellation, deletion, correction, access, opt-out, or restriction.
For account cancellation or removal, Behaviour's Terms say to contact support or follow the cancellation steps shown inside the account. For deletion, correction, access, opt-out, or restriction requests, choose Privacy Request. Complete any identity verification Behaviour asks for before processing continues.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I link two Steam accounts to one BHVR Account?
No. Behaviour allows one account per platform per Behaviour Account, so one Behaviour Account cannot hold two Steam accounts.
Can BHVR Support unsync my Dead by Daylight platform?
No. After a platform is synced for Dead by Daylight cross-progression, Behaviour says it cannot be unsynced and Player Support cannot bypass the restriction.
Why is Multi-Factor Authentication missing from my BHVR Account?
The Multi-Factor Authentication option appears for Behaviour Accounts created with email and password. Accounts created through providers such as Facebook or Google use the provider's security settings.
What should I do if my Twitch Drops were claimed but did not arrive?
Open the Dead by Daylight Twitch Drops page in your Behaviour Account and use the resync or retry delivery option. Restart Dead by Daylight if it was open when you claimed the Drop.
How do I request BHVR account deletion or privacy access?
Open BHVR's support request form, choose Submit a request, then select Privacy Request for deletion, correction, access, opt-out, or restriction requests.
