Your Behaviour Account can break in a few different places. Maybe you cannot get into the portal, your email needs changing, Dead by Daylight cross-progression is stuck, or Twitch Drops never show up in-game.

Start with the official Behaviour Account portal, then use the fix below that matches the exact problem on your screen.

1. Open the Behaviour Account portal first

The Behaviour Account portal is where you create, sign in to, and manage the account used for supported Behaviour Interactive games, including Dead by Daylight, It Has My Face, and The Casting of Frank Stone.

  1. 1.Go to https://account.bhvr.com/.
  2. 2.Choose Sign in if you already have an account.
  3. 3.Choose Sign up if you need to create one.
  4. 4.Use the left-side account areas, including Account Details, Multi-Factor Authentication, Game Library, and the providers or connections page.

Keep this portal open while you work through email, security, platform linking, or reward delivery issues.

2. Change your Behaviour Account email

  1. 1.Sign in at https://account.bhvr.com/.
  2. 2.Click Account Details on the left-hand side.
  3. 3.Click the pencil icon next to your email address.
  4. 4.Enter the new email address.
  5. 5.Click Confirm.
  6. 6.Open the new email inbox and copy the verification code.
  7. 7.Enter the code in the verification box within 5 minutes.
  8. 8.Click Confirm again.

If you still control the account and need a new email address on it, do the change from Account Details. Use an inbox you can open right away because the verification code has a 5-minute window.

3. Update your Behaviour Account nickname

Nickname changes live in Account Details, and Behaviour limits changes to once every 24 hours.

  1. 1.Sign in at https://account.bhvr.com/.
  2. 2.Click Account Details.
  3. 3.Click the pencil icon next to your current nickname.
  4. 4.Enter the new nickname.
  5. 5.Click Save changes at the bottom of the Personal Information panel.

4. Turn on multi-factor authentication

  1. 1.Sign in at https://account.bhvr.com/.
  2. 2.Click Multi-Factor Authentication on the left-hand side.
  3. 3.Click the toggle button.
  4. 4.Open your email and find the confirmation code.
  5. 5.Enter the confirmation code.

Use this when your Behaviour Account was created with Behaviour email and password sign-in. If the account was created through an external provider such as Facebook or Google, Multi-Factor Authentication is not shown in the Behaviour portal. Use that provider's own MFA settings instead.

5. Sync Dead by Daylight cross-progression

Dead by Daylight cross-progression works through a Behaviour Account and supports Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Dead by Daylight Mobile is excluded.

  1. 1.Create or sign in to your Behaviour Account at https://account.bhvr.com/.
  2. 2.Go to the connections page.
  3. 3.Choose the platform account you want to link.
  4. 4.Authorize the platform account sign-in.
  5. 5.Use the available sync flow or Sync button.

The Sync button checks that the in-game Dead by Daylight account is connected to the Behaviour Account and updates the information shared between them.

6. Update Dead by Daylight before retrying sync

  1. 1.Go to https://deadbydaylight.com/game/.
  2. 2.Click Play Now or Buy Now.
  3. 3.Choose the correct platform or store.
  4. 4.Install or update Dead by Daylight through that store or library.
  5. 5.Launch Dead by Daylight at least once on that platform.
  6. 6.Return to https://account.bhvr.com/ and retry linking or syncing.

If cross-progression will not link or sync, update and launch the game on the platform account you want to connect. Behaviour says this step is highly recommended for all platforms and mandatory for Nintendo Switch before cross-progression setup.

7. Repair Dead by Daylight Twitch Drops

Twitch Drops need Twitch, your Behaviour Account, and Dead by Daylight delivery to line up.

  • You claimed while online in Dead by Daylight - fully restart Dead by Daylight, then check again in-game.
  • Your Twitch email is not verified - open Twitch, go to Settings, open Security and Privacy, resend the verification email, confirm the Twitch email address, then return to the Behaviour Account linking flow.
  • Twitch asks to connect again - sign in at https://account.bhvr.com/, open https://account.bhvr.com/account/my-account/providers, then unlink and relink Twitch in Connections or the providers page.
  • Drops were claimed but not delivered - sign in to the Behaviour Account, go to https://account.bhvr.com/twitch/dbd, and use that page to tell Behaviour Account that the Twitch Drops were sent or claimed.
  • Drops still are not showing up - after resyncing, allow up to an hour for delivery, then contact Behaviour Support so the team can look into the specific Twitch Drops issue.

If Twitch was linked to the wrong Behaviour Account, contact Behaviour Support using the email used to create the accidental Behaviour Account, which is likely the email connected to Twitch. Complete Behaviour's validation process so Twitch can later be linked to the correct Behaviour Account.

8. Contact Behaviour Support for account issues

  1. 1.Go to https://support.bhvr.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
  2. 2.Under Please choose your issue below, select the relevant option, such as Dead by Daylight, It Has My Face, The Casting of Frank Stone, Meet Your Maker, Hooked On You, Flippin Misfits, Islands of Insight, or Privacy Request.
  3. 3.Fill out the form.
  4. 4.Submit it.

Use the support form when the portal cannot fix login, linking, rewards, incorrect account, or game-specific account problems.

For Dead by Daylight lost progress, submit a support ticket, select loss of progress, and attach a screenshot of the Player Cloud ID.

For deletion, access, correction, opt-out, or restricting processing of personal information, choose Privacy Request. Behaviour says deletion may affect use of Services and may be subject to exceptions.

For account cancellation, contact Behaviour at https://support.bhvr.com or follow the cancellation steps shown in your account. For termination, suspension, bans, or revoked access, contact Behaviour Support.

Do not follow older advice about unsyncing Dead by Daylight cross-progression after it has been enabled and synced. Behaviour's current FAQ says there is no way to unsync the account, and Player Support cannot bypass that restriction.
