To cancel Fubo, open subscription management with the company that bills you, select Fubo, and complete its cancellation process. For directly billed plans, sign in to Fubo’s website, select My Account, open Subscription, and select Cancel. If Roku or Apple collects your payment, cancel through that provider’s subscription settings.

Choose your route by who collects your payment, rather than the device you watch on. A directly billed paid subscription stays active through the billing period, while a directly billed free trial ends immediately when you cancel.

The short version

  • Direct billing: Cancel through Fubo’s website in a computer or mobile browser.
  • Roku billing: Open Roku subscription management and select Turn off auto-renew.
  • Apple billing: Cancel through Apple only when Fubo appears in your Apple subscriptions.
  • Finish the process: Complete the cancellation confirmation and check your subscription status.

Find out who bills your subscription

Check your billing provider before following device instructions. Watching Fubo on a Roku does not make your subscription Roku-billed, and watching on Fire TV does not make a full Fubo plan a Prime Video channel subscription.

Fubo identifies Roku billing with Roku Subscription on its Subscription page. Follow an Apple route only when you have an Apple receipt for Fubo or Fubo appears in the purchasing Apple Account’s subscriptions. If Fubo is missing from a provider’s subscription manager, check which account and company collected the payment.

Cancel directly through the Fubo website

Open Fubo’s website in a computer or mobile browser and sign in. Choose any profile on Who's Watching?, click the settings icon, then select My Account. Select Subscription, scroll down, and select Cancel.

If Fubo presents a retention offer or discount, select CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION to continue. Wait for the successful-cancellation page, then click OK. Continue past any offer screen until you receive confirmation.

This route applies to directly billed subscriptions in both the US and Canada, including active US free trials. Canadian annual plans billed monthly can carry an early termination fee during their 12-month commitment. Fubo also directs you to its website for account cancellation when you use its mobile or Fire TV apps.

Turn off renewal through Roku

For a Roku-billed subscription, sign in to Roku subscription management with the Roku account that pays for Fubo. Under Active subscriptions, choose Fubo, select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew. You can use a desktop or mobile browser.

On a Roku streaming player or Roku TV, press Home on the remote and highlight Fubo in the Apps section. Press *, select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew. Enter your Roku purchase or subscription PIN if requested.

If subscription options are missing from Quick Access, highlight Fubo in Apps instead. Roku’s Canadian support instructions also offer a Streaming Store route: search or browse for Fubo, select the app, and press OK. Select Manage subscription, choose Turn off auto-renew, and enter your PIN if requested.

Get help when direct cancellation fails

If you cannot finish canceling a directly billed US account online, call Fubo at 844-441-3826 and request cancellation. Phone cancellation applies to paid subscriptions and trials. Support operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET, seven days a week, with possible holiday changes.

For a directly billed US paid subscription, you can also request cancellation through live chat. Open Fubo’s Help Center, click the chat icon in the lower-right corner, enter your cancellation request or choose the relevant topic, and request a customer support agent if needed. Live agents operate from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET daily, subject to holiday changes.

Fubo does not accept cancellation requests through email, mail, social media, or app reviews. Requests submitted under Contact Us also do not cancel your subscription, so do not treat a support ticket as confirmation. If a third party bills you, use that provider’s cancellation route.

Cancel an Apple billed Fubo subscription

On iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, open Settings, select your name, then select Subscriptions. Select Fubo and choose Cancel Subscription. These steps apply only when Apple bills your Fubo subscription.

You can also open Apple subscription management in a browser, including on Android. Sign in with the Apple Account used to purchase Fubo, then follow the onscreen cancellation instructions.

On a Mac, open System Settings, click your name, then open Media & Purchases. Click Manage beside Subscriptions to view and update your current subscriptions. This route requires your Apple media-store sign-in.

In the Mac App Store, open App Store, click your name in the sidebar, then click your name on the account page. Click Subscriptions, select Fubo, and click Cancel Subscription. Apple’s macOS 27 instructions use different intermediate labels: open Account Settings, click Manage beside Subscriptions, then select Edit for Fubo to reach its cancellation controls.

On Apple TV 4K with the current settings layout, open Settings > Profiles and Accounts and select the purchasing profile. Open Subscriptions, select Fubo, and complete the displayed cancellation instructions. Fubo must be listed under that Apple Account.

Use Apple apps to reach subscription management

Open Apple Music or Apple TV for Windows, select your name, then select View My Account. Find Settings > Subscriptions > Manage, select Edit for Fubo, and click Cancel Subscription. These are settings inside the Apple app.

The Apple TV app also offers subscription management when Fubo is listed as an Apple-billed subscription. On iPhone, select your profile picture or initials, then select Subscriptions. On iPad, open the sidebar first, then select your profile picture or initials and select Subscriptions. Select Fubo and complete the displayed cancellation instructions.

On Mac, open the Apple TV app and select Account > Account Settings > Subscriptions. On Android, open the app’s profile icon, then select Account Settings > Manage Subscriptions. In either case, select Fubo if listed and complete the displayed cancellation instructions.

In the Apple TV app on a supported TV or streaming device, open the sidebar and select Settings > Profile. Choose the Apple Account profile, then select Manage Subscriptions. Select Fubo if listed and complete the displayed cancellation instructions.

Cancel a channel or add on separately

To remove an individual add-on while keeping your directly billed Fubo base plan, sign in to Fubo, choose a profile, click the settings icon, and select My Account. Find My Add-Ons, select Manage Add-Ons, then select the checkmark on the unwanted add-on to remove it. Select Check Out, review the changes, and select Update Subscription.

This removes only the selected add-on, and access to it continues until the next billing cycle. To stop the base subscription as well, complete the full cancellation process through your billing provider.

For Fubo Sports Network purchased through Prime Video Channels in Canada, sign in to the Amazon account that purchased the channel. Open Prime Video’s Account & Settings, select Subscriptions, locate Fubo Sports Network, and select Unsubscribe. If the cancellation option is labeled differently, select withdraw. Complete the cancellation confirmation and check the subscription end date shown afterward.

The Canadian Prime Video channel is a separate subscription from the full Fubo service. Use that route only for Fubo Sports Network purchased through Prime Video Channels.

Confirm cancellation and your access end date

After canceling a directly billed Fubo subscription, return to Subscription to check the termination date or reactivation options. Paid access continues through the current billing period. A directly billed free trial ends immediately upon cancellation, so cancel when you are ready to lose trial access.

For Roku or Apple billing, finish the provider’s cancellation flow and check the status displayed in its subscription manager. Confirm that you completed cancellation before closing the page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you pause Fubo instead of canceling?

Fubo says it does not offer subscription pausing or suspension. If you want to stop your subscription, use cancellation.

Does deleting the Fubo app cancel your subscription?

Removing the app does not stop subscription billing. Roku instructs you to turn off auto-renew before removing the app.

Can you cancel Fubo by removing your payment card?

Removing payment details does not cancel Fubo. Fubo’s Digital Wallet may promote a backup card, and it does not permit removal of every payment method.

How do you permanently delete your Fubo account after canceling?

Fubo recommends canceling your subscription first and waiting for paid access to end. Open the Privacy Center through the privacy-request link in Fubo’s privacy help page, select Delete all my data, enter your Fubo account email, and select Send Email. Follow the identity-verification email to submit the deletion request. Deletion immediately removes account access when processed and does not replace cancellation through a third-party billing provider.
