For just $999.99, down from its list price of $1399.99, this white pair suits listeners building a stereo system around separate amplification. The appeal is the combination of dedicated drivers and KEF's approach to spreading sound evenly across a room.

What You're Getting

• Three-way construction. Dedicated high, mid and low frequency drivers divide the work, with a 6.5-inch hybrid aluminum bass driver handling the low end.
• 12th Generation Uni-Q. The tweeter sits at the acoustic center of the midrange driver. This arrangement is designed to deliver coherent sound and even dispersion across more listening positions.
• Metamaterial Absorption Technology. KEF says this absorbs 99% of unwanted sound from the rear of the tweeter, helping reduce distortion and clean up high frequencies.
• Passive system flexibility. These speakers work with a separate amplifier, allowing you to choose your amplification and change it as your system develops.
• A pair in white. The offer covers two bookshelf speakers for a stereo setup, with scope to add further speakers for home theater.

Who This Is For

This pair fits listeners who want dedicated hi-fi speakers for music and movies and already own, or plan to buy, a separate amplifier. The Uni-Q arrangement also makes sense for rooms where people listen from several seats, since its design aims to spread consistent sound beyond one central position. Buyers who want to upgrade amplification over time can keep the speakers as the foundation of their system.

The Caveat

These are passive speakers, so a separate amplifier belongs in your setup and budget. Choose them with that system requirement in mind.

Final Verdict

Choose the Q Concerto Meta if a three-way bookshelf pair and freedom over amplification match your plans. Get this deal for a stereo foundation you can build around, with $400 off the $1399.99 list price.
