You do not log in to an eero router through a local browser page or default router password. For a normal home eero network, setup and management happen in the eero app.

Use the app first, then choose the sign-in path that matches your account: phone or email verification, Amazon Login, new-phone recovery, or the limited web account page.

Download the eero app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon Appstore, then open it on a supported phone or tablet. eero supports iOS 15 or later, Android 9.0 or later, and Bluetooth 4.0 or later, with Android tablets included.

Sign in with a verification code

Use this route when your eero account still uses a phone number or email address.

  1. 1.Open the eero app.
  2. 2.Enter the phone number or email address associated with your eero account.
  3. 3.Choose Text or Email when the app offers a login-code choice.
  4. 4.Enter the verification code to sign in.

Use Amazon Login after linking it

Amazon Login applies when you created your eero account with Amazon credentials or permanently switched an existing eero account to Amazon Login. After the switch, your old eero login credentials no longer work.

To switch an existing account, open the eero app and go to Settings > Account settings > Switch to Amazon login > Continue with Amazon.

After linking, sign in with your Amazon username and password. New customers can use Amazon credentials during account creation.

Use account.eero.com for account tasks

Go to account.eero.com.

Log in with your eero account email address, phone number, or Amazon-linked account.

Enter the verification code when prompted.

Use the available account, subscription, or data options; do not treat account.eero.com as a full router dashboard.

From the app, open it through Settings > Account settings > Manage at account.eero.com.

The subscription management destination depends on the purchase method, including Amazon.com, account.eero.com, Apple ID settings, or Google Play settings.

For eligible European Union networks, use Data Management to select Request your device data or Request your personal data.

Tip: change Wi-Fi and network settings in the eero app, not on account.eero.com.

Fix app login problems

This fixes app access issues after setup, not a separate router login method.

Force close the eero app, then reopen it.

Log out of your eero account, then log back in.

Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on in your device settings.

Check for app updates, then uninstall and reinstall the eero app.

Restart your phone and try signing in again.

Regain access on a new phone

The most common cause is signing in on the new device with a different account than the one tied to the eero network.

Install the eero app on the new phone or tablet.

Log in with the account connected to your eero phone number or email address.

Choose to receive the required verification code at that phone number or email address.

If you permanently switched that account to Amazon Login, sign in with your Amazon username and password instead; the previous eero login credentials are no longer valid.

Enter the code in the app to regain access to your network.

Manage eero from an Apple Silicon Mac

Download and install the iPad version of the eero app on an Apple Silicon-powered Mac.

Open the app and sign in with your phone or email verification code, or use your linked Amazon account.

Manage the network the same way you would from the tablet version of the app.

Tip: Windows, Linux, and Intel-based Macs cannot configure eero through a program or web browser.

Join or receive an existing network

This applies when someone else owns the eero network and needs to give you admin access or transfer ownership. You need the eero app and an eero account.

For Multi-Admin access, the network owner opens Settings > User permissions > the blue plus icon > Invite admin.

Scan the QR code or open the shared invite link.

If you are already signed in, tap Join network as admin. If you are not signed in, accept the invite after logging in or creating an eero account.

For ownership transfer, make sure you are on eero app version 6.14.1 or later, then create an eero account in the eero app and open the shared link or scan the QR code from the original owner.

Tap Accept on the pop-up and follow the instructions to accept ownership.

QR codes and invite links expire after 48 hours. Ownership transfer is unavailable when the network is managed by an ISP or professional network installation business.

Handle used or managed eeros carefully

Use these checks when the eero is secondhand, already registered, ISP-provided, or tied to eero Business.

  1. 1.For a retail eero already associated with another network, press and hold the reset button on the back or bottom until the LED flashes red, about 15 seconds.
  2. 2.Release the button, wait for the LED to flash blue, then open the eero app and set it up again.
  3. 3.Do not hard reset an ISP-provided eero unless you accept that setup can fail outside that ISP's managed network.
  4. 4.When the app says Unauthorized eero, only the ISP that owns the eero can authorize its use.
  5. 5.For eero Business, Business Network Owners can use insight.eero.com or Access eero Insight in the app after signing in; network admins do not have eero Insight access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I log in to my eero router from a web browser?

Not for normal home-router management. Current eero guidance says network configuration is done in the eero app, not through a local browser admin page.

Does eero have a default username and password?

No. The current consumer login flow uses the eero app with a verification code or Amazon Login after linking, not default router credentials.

What should I do if Amazon Login replaced my old eero login?

Sign in with your Amazon username and password. eero says switching an existing account to Amazon Login is permanent, and the previous eero login credentials stop being valid.

Can I use WPS to connect or log in to eero?

No. eero's security guidance says eero does not support WEP, WPA, or WPS.

Can another person manage my eero network?

Yes. The owner can invite a Multi-Admin from Settings > User permissions > the blue plus icon > Invite admin. eero allows up to 10 admins.
