For just $719.99, below its 30-day average of $798.94. The 90-day average sits at $692.92 and the 180-day average at $571.01, so this is not an all-time low. But it is a solid step down from recent pricing, and for anyone who needs 4TB of portable NVMe storage right now, the gap is wide enough to act.

What You're Getting

This is a 4TB external SSD built around NVMe technology. Read speeds hit up to 1,050 MB/s with write speeds reaching 1,000 MB/s.

It ships with USB 3.2 Gen-2 and USB-C compatibility, plus a USB-A adapter for older machines. Password-enabled 256-bit AES hardware encryption keeps data secure. The drive is shock and vibration resistant with drop protection up to 6.5 feet. Western Digital backs it with a 5-year limited warranty.

Who This Is For

Best for creative professionals and power users who need fast, portable bulk storage. Video editors moving large project files, photographers backing up raw libraries, and anyone running out of internal drive space on a laptop will get the most out of 4TB at these speeds.

Casual users with lighter storage needs can find cheaper options at lower capacities.

Final Verdict

If you need 4TB of portable NVMe storage now, this price cuts $78.95 off the 30-day average. The drive is fast, encrypted, and backed by a five-year warranty. For anyone who can wait, the 90-day low of $692.92 suggests deeper discounts are possible. But for current needs. This is a fair price on a reliable drive.
