What You're Getting

The TCL 85QM7K features QD-Mini LED technology that combines QLED and OLED advantages, with up to 2500 local dimming zones for precise contrast control. The anti-reflective 120-144Hz screen handles fast motion smoothly, while Dolby Atmos and Onkyo audio deliver immersive sound.

Google TV provides smart functionality with voice remote support for Alexa and Google Assistant.

Key specs include TCL's Halo Control System for halo-free images, CrystGlow HVA panel to reduce reflections, and high HDR brightness that works in any lighting environment. The 85-inch size makes it ideal for larger living rooms or dedicated home theater spaces.

Who This Is For

Best for home theater enthusiasts upgrading from smaller or older TVs who want premium picture quality without OLED pricing. This works well for movie watchers, sports fans, and gamers who appreciate the 120-144Hz refresh rate.

The Caveat

At 85 inches, this TV requires significant wall space or a sturdy stand. While Mini LED improves contrast over standard LED, it doesn't match OLED's per-pixel control.

Consider your room size and viewing distance before committing to this large format display.

Final Verdict

For under $1500, TCL's 85-inch Mini LED TV delivers premium features at a mid-range price. The current discount makes it a smart buy for anyone setting up a home theater or upgrading their main living room TV.

If you've been waiting for a quality large-screen display to drop below the $1500 mark. This is your opportunity.
