For just $123, below its 30-day average of $137.86. While this isn't the absolute lowest price we've seen historically, it's a meaningful reduction from what the drive has been selling for recently. The current price sits comfortably below the typical asking price over the past month.

What You're Getting

The SanDisk Ultra Luxe USB Type-C Flash Drive delivers 1TB of storage in a premium metal enclosure. You get read speeds up to 400MB/s via USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity, making file transfers between USB-C devices quick and efficient. The retractable connector design protects the port from damage, while the keyring hole adds practical portability. This drive handles everything from large media files to document backups with style.

Who This Is For

This deal works best for users who regularly transfer large files between USB-C devices like modern laptops, tablets, and smartphones. It's ideal for photographers, videographers, or anyone managing extensive media libraries who needs reliable portable storage.

If you're still using older USB-A drives and have upgraded to USB-C devices, this provides a convenient bridge solution.

The Caveat

While the 400MB/s read speed is respectable, write speeds will be slower, which matters if you're frequently moving massive files. The metal construction adds durability but also some weight compared to plastic alternatives.

If you only need occasional file transfers or smaller capacity, cheaper options exist.

Final Verdict

For $123, the SanDisk Ultra Luxe offers a good balance of capacity, speed, and build quality for USB-C users. The price reduction from its recent average makes this a sensible purchase if you need reliable 1TB storage now.

Wait if you can hold out for deeper discounts that occasionally dip below $100, but for current needs, this delivers solid value.
