What You're Getting

The VP-42H is a 4x2 multi-format HDMI processor that handles switching, matrix routing, and split duties in one box. It combines up to four HDMI sources onto a single output for live presentations, events, or streaming setups.

Key features include browser-based network control for remote switching, simultaneous multi-resolution handling, integrated audio management with external device connections, and a keyer function for overlays and advanced compositions. The unit ships with the AC adapter, power cord, rack mount hardware, and a one-year Roland warranty.

Who This Is For

Best for AV installers, church tech teams, event production crews, and content creators who need reliable multi-source HDMI switching without dropping frames. The browser control makes it practical for rack-mounted or hard-to-reach setups.

Skip it if a simple 2x1 switcher covers your workflow -- the matrix and keyer features add cost you will not use.
