For just $1797.99, below its 30-day average of $1983.62. The 90-day average sits at $1,864.92 and the 180-day average at $1,894.35, so this price undercuts all three reference points.

It's a genuine low for a camera body that rarely sees discounts outside of seasonal sales cycles.

What You're Getting

The GH7 packs a 25.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with 13+ stop dynamic range boost for rich gradation in both photos and video. Apple ProRes RAW internal recording and 32-bit float audio (via the DMW-XLR2 adapter) arrive as firsts for the Micro Four Thirds lineup.

It records 5.7K 30p Apple ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes RAW HQ internally, uploads straight to Adobe's Frame.io platform, and shoots Open Gate for all-aspect-ratio social media content without resolution loss.

Who This Is For

Best for video-first shooters who need ProRes RAW internal recording and 32-bit float audio in a compact travel-friendly body. Hybrid photographers who shoot both stills and video for client work will benefit from the Adobe Cloud integration and streamlined post-production workflow.

If you mainly shoot stills and don't need the advanced video features, the older GH6 or a full-frame option might fit better.

Final Verdict

The $1,797.99 price cuts past every recent average and puts the GH7 in play for anyone who needs professional video tools in a Micro Four Thirds body. If you've been waiting on the sidelines for the price to drop below $1,800. This is the green light.
