What You're Getting

The LG SC9S delivers 3.1.3-channel audio with Dolby Atmos support, featuring triple up-firing speakers including an industry-exclusive up-firing center channel for enhanced dialogue clarity. AI Room Calibration Pro automatically adjusts audio settings to your room's acoustics, while Clear Voice Plus technology improves vocal intelligibility in movies and shows.

The Smart Up-Mixer converts 2-channel audio into multi-channel experiences, and WOW Orchestra technology synchronizes audio between your LG TV and soundbar for a unified listening experience. At 36.2 inches wide, it's designed to match LG's OLED evo C Series TVs perfectly.

Who This Is For

Best for: LG OLED evo C Series TV owners seeking perfect audio-visual integration. This soundbar makes the most sense if you already own or plan to buy a compatible LG television, as the WOW Orchestra feature requires an LG TV to function.

It's also ideal for those prioritizing dialogue clarity in movies and shows, thanks to the dedicated up-firing center channel. Skip this if you don't own an LG TV or if you need a more versatile soundbar that works equally well with any television brand.

The Caveat

The WOW Orchestra feature, which synchronizes TV and soundbar audio, only works with compatible LG televisions. Without an LG TV, you lose one of the soundbar's key selling points.

The 3.1.3-channel configuration also means you'll need to purchase separate rear speakers if you want true surround sound.

Final Verdict

For LG OLED evo C Series owners, this price cut makes the SC9S a compelling upgrade that delivers smooth integration and enhanced audio performance. The $87 savings compared to its 180-day average represents genuine value for those seeking premium audio that matches their premium television.
