For just $1799.99, below its 30-day average of $2275.69. The 90-day average sits at $2160.72 and the 180-day average is $2203.35, so this price undercuts all recent benchmarks.

Given this model launched with Intel's latest Core Ultra 7 Series 2 and an RTX 5050 GPU, seeing a $475.70 drop this early is uncommon.

What You're Getting

The LG gram Pro packs a 17-inch display into a 3.3-pound chassis that's only 0.6 inches thin. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2) with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. The NVIDIA RTX 5050 GPU handles creative workloads and gaming. LG's hybrid AI system combines on-device intelligence with cloud-based tools for tasks like document creation, scheduling, and system management.

It's Intel Evo certified and passed seven MIL-STD-810G durability tests.

Who This Is For

Best for professionals and creators who need a lightweight machine that can handle both productivity and graphics-intensive work. The 17-inch screen in a 3.3-pound frame makes this a rare option for anyone who values portability without sacrificing display size.

Gamers on a budget who want RTX 5050 performance should also take note. Skip this if you need more than 16GB of RAM or prefer a larger SSD out of the box.

The Caveat

The 16GB RAM is soldered and not upgradeable, so choose your configuration carefully. If your workflow doesn't require dedicated graphics, the integrated GPU versions of the gram Pro cost less.

Final Verdict

For $1799.99, you're getting a sub-3.5-pound 17-inch laptop with a discrete RTX 5050 and Intel's latest AI-ready silicon. That combination is hard to find at this price.

If you need a portable workstation now. This is the move.
