What You're Getting

You're getting a 16-inch ultraportable that weighs just 2.74 pounds despite its large display. The LG gram packs an Intel Evo Edition Core Ultra 7 processor with dedicated AI hardware, 16GB of RAM, and a generous 2TB SSD.

As a Copilot+ PC, it's optimized for Windows 11's AI features and delivers up to 28.5 hours of video playback from its 77Wh battery. The hybrid AI system combines local processing for system tasks with cloud-based generative AI for document creation and analysis.

Who This Is For

This laptop targets mobile professionals who need serious performance without the weight. It's ideal for consultants, frequent travelers, and anyone who values portability above all else.

The Copilot+ AI features make it particularly useful for productivity-focused users who want to use Windows 11's latest tools. If you're still carrying a heavier laptop and travel regularly, this could be your upgrade.

The Caveat

The LG gram prioritizes portability over raw power. While the Core Ultra 7 handles productivity and AI tasks well, it's not designed for heavy gaming or intensive video editing.

The integrated graphics will handle everyday tasks but struggle with demanding 3D workloads.

Final Verdict

At $1396.99, this LG gram delivers premium portability and AI features at a price that undercuts recent averages by over $300. For mobile professionals who need a lightweight workhorse with modern AI capabilities, this discount makes a compelling case to buy now rather than wait.
