What You're Getting

The LG Class OLED evo AI 4K C5 delivers LG's flagship OLED technology with over 8.3 million self-lit pixels for perfect black and perfect color reproduction. The Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen8 handles AI Super Upscaling to enhance picture quality across all content types.

You get Dolby Vision for exceptional color and contrast plus Dolby Atmos for immersive surround sound. Brightness Booster technology magnifies individual pixels for luminous quality, while Bright Room Ready certification ensures performance in various lighting conditions.

Filmmaker Mode preserves the director's original vision.

Who This Is For

Best for home theater enthusiasts seeking premium picture quality without paying flagship prices. This works well for movie buffs who want accurate color reproduction and deep blacks.

Gamers will appreciate the responsive OLED panel and Dolby Atmos support. Skip if you need a smaller screen size or prefer QLED technology for extremely bright rooms.

The Caveat

This is a 77-inch model, so ensure you have adequate wall space or a suitable entertainment center. OLED technology remains susceptible to potential burn-in with static content over extended periods, though modern panels include mitigation features.

Final Verdict

At $1823.97, this LG OLED represents a meaningful discount from its recent pricing trends. For buyers who want premium picture quality and can accommodate a 77-inch display, this price point makes the C5 Series competitive with mid-range LED models.

If you've been waiting for OLED pricing to dip below $2,000 for a screen this size, now's your window.
