For just $949.99, below its 30-day average of $1197.58. The 90-day average sits at $1,197.12 and the 180-day average at $1,180.74, so this is a genuine price break on a watch that rarely sees movement outside major shopping events.

What You're Getting

The fēnix 8 Pro packs a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a titanium bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire lens, built for serious abuse. Key specs include:

• Built-in inReach satellite technology for two-way messaging and interactive SOS (active subscription required)
• LTE connectivity for calls, messages, and LiveTrack location sharing without your phone
• Preloaded TopoActive maps with relief shading plus maps for golf courses and ski resorts
• Rugged construction with premium materials across the board

Who This Is For

Best for backcountry adventurers, trail runners, and anyone who spends time beyond cell service. The inReach and LTE features make this a legit safety tool, not just a fitness tracker.

Skip it if you only need basic step tracking or run mostly on paved roads, where a much cheaper GPS watch will do the same job.

The Caveat

The satellite and LTE features require active subscriptions, so factor that into the total cost. Coverage limitations apply, and some jurisdictions regulate satellite communication devices.

Final Verdict

If you need satellite messaging and navigation in a single rugged package. This is the lowest price we have tracked on the 47mm AMOLED version. Worth jumping on now rather than waiting for a deeper cut that may not come until Black Friday.
