MasterCraft Boat Holdings is bringing Android Auto and CarPlay to its upcoming Crest and Balise pontoon boats, marking the first factory-installed setup with on-water navigation that the company claims. The boat maker paired with navigation app Savvy Navvy, whose new Android Auto and CarPlay apps include Savvy Charts with 2D and 3D views.

The apps will display real-time navigation to boaters much like regular maps do on Android Auto, complete with ETA, speed, and remaining distance. Owners can plan trips at home and find their route ready when they board, with the option to switch between day, night, and satellite map views.

The helm displays on all new Balise and Crest Conquest and Caribbean models will be compatible with Android Auto and CarPlay, with Savvy Navvy as the default navigation app. Customers who buy a 2027 Crest or Balise boat also get access to Savvy Navvy Premium for free.

Existing boat owners don't need to upgrade to get the convenience. The Savvy Navvy app is available on Android Auto and CarPlay worldwide and works with any compatible display, including aftermarket displays on older boats.
