Can't create a Ubisoft account even after filling out every field? Rejected signup details, age requirements, and a stuck browser form each need a different fix. Start with the service check below, then check your details and use another supported signup route if the website still won't cooperate.

Check whether Ubisoft services are available

Open the Ubisoft Help home page and check its maintenance or service-degradation information. If an incident affects the website or Ubisoft Connect, wait until service returns before retrying.

If there's no reported disruption, or signup still fails after service returns, check the form requirements next.

Enter signup details the form accepts

Open the Ubisoft Account Management signup form and check each field.

Select Create an account.

Enter your real birth date under Your date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY), using the separate day, month, and year fields.

Then select Continue. Use day/month/year order, not month/day/year.

Enter a permanent address you control in Email address.

Repeat it exactly in Confirm your email address. Ubisoft disallows disposable addresses and multiple alias addresses.

Under Our email rules, the form permits ASCII letters, digits, underscores, dashes, and periods in addition to the address separator. Avoid plus-address aliases and unsupported characters.

Choose an unused Ubisoft username with 3–15 characters, starting with a letter. Use only letters, numbers, underscores, dashes, or periods, with no offensive words. Ubisoft's US terms also prohibit usernames containing Ubi or Ubisoft or impersonating Ubisoft.

Try a different username if submission fails despite valid-looking fields.

Set a Password with 8–16 characters, including at least one lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number, and special character. Keep your username out of the password and follow the form's validation messages.

Review and complete I accept Ubisoft's Terms of Use and Terms of Sale. and I have read Ubisoft's Privacy Policy. The newsletter subscription is a separate choice.

Select Create account and follow the email-validation instructions.

If signup stops at an age or parental-consent prompt, follow the child-account process below.

If signup stops at your birth date

An age-related rejection needs a different fix from a browser error. Ubisoft's signup rules depend on your country and the device you use.

Check Ubisoft's country-specific age thresholds. Signup is available from age seven through console, Ubisoft Connect PC, or the Account Management website, with the child-account process for eligible younger players. Mobile-device signup requires the local privacy age of consent: 13 in the US and UK, 14 in Canada, 15 in France, or 16 in Germany.

For a child account, enter the parent's or guardian's email address when prompted.

Have the adult open the consent email and select Create your child's Ubisoft account. Check spam if that message hasn't arrived.

The parent or guardian must sign into their own Ubisoft account or create one.

Enter the child's real birth date and email address.

Review the policies and grant the required consent.

Select Create.

Complete any regional age-verification prompts shown during the process. Ubisoft identifies Yoti as its verification-information provider; the sequence depends on the country and account flow. Don't substitute an invented older birth date.

A blank or stuck form needs browser troubleshooting

Open the official signup page in another browser or on another device; the mobile age requirement still applies. Refresh after each browser change to check the result.

Try a private window through More > New Incognito window in desktop Chrome, or File > New Private Window in Safari on Mac. Chrome Incognito blocks third-party cookies by default, so it doesn't eliminate cookie-related signup failures.

Turn off suspected ad blockers or script blockers through Chrome's More > Extensions > Manage extensions. In Safari on Mac, deselect them under Safari > Settings > Extensions. On iPhone, turn them off under Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions.

If Chrome displays Third-party cookies blocked, select it and turn on Third-party cookies for the site before reloading. If JavaScript is disabled, enable it through More > Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Javascript > Sites can use Javascript.

Clear stored browser data

In Chrome, open More > Delete browsing data.

Choose All time.

Select the browsing-history, cookie/site-data, and cached-file categories.

Select Delete data.

In Edge, open Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear.

Set the time range.

Select the history, cookie/site-data, and cached-file categories.

Select Clear now.

In Firefox, open the menu > History > Clear recent history….

Set When: to Everything.

Select Cookies and site data and Temporary cached files and pages.

Select Clear.

In Safari on Mac, open Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.

Select the affected Ubisoft website.

Click Remove.

Click Done.

In Safari on iPhone, open Settings > Apps > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

Select the timeframe.

Tap Clear History.

Reopen the signup page to retry after clearing data in your browser.

Keep your login details handy, because clearing cookies signs you out of affected websites.

When the website fails, try another signup route

If your details meet the requirements but web signup still fails, Ubisoft Support recommends Ubisoft Connect PC. Supported console games also offer account creation.

On Windows, download the current launcher from the official Ubisoft Connect product page. Use Ubisoft Connect and Ubisoft Account Management for current instructions; Uplay and Ubisoft Club are the older services.

Install the launcher, preferably in its default C-drive location.

Right-click its shortcut and select Run as Administrator.

Choose account creation from the login screen.

Complete the signup form.

If the launcher starts offline, restore your PC's internet connection. Offline mode cannot complete online account creation.

Close Ubisoft Connect PC.

Relaunch it before trying signup again.

On console, open the account-creation screen offered by a supported Ubisoft game.

Complete signup there. Creating an account on console automatically links that console platform to the new Ubisoft account.

For Epic Games Launcher, sign in to the launcher.

Launch the Ubisoft game.

Select Link your account in the pop-up.

Select Create an account in the browser window and complete signup.

If the handoff fails, select Cancel in Epic Games Launcher.

Start the linking process again.

Finish email validation or recover an existing account

Use these checks when you're waiting for an email or need access to an account you already have.

  1. 1.Follow the signup screen's email-validation instructions and open Ubisoft's verification message. Account creation and email validation are separate stages.
  2. 2.Check every inbox folder, including spam, junk, and promotions. If you can't access the inbox, recover it through your email provider.
  3. 3.Add [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] to your email provider's allowlist.
  4. 4.For an existing account, select Can't log in? > I forgot my password at login. Enter the account email, complete CAPTCHA, and select Continue. Follow the emailed reset link and finish with Change. Existing mobile-game users can choose I have played on mobile.
  5. 5.When normal email or SMS recovery is unavailable, continue through Don't have access to your email? > Visit Ubisoft Help and complete the Account Recovery Form. This recovers an existing account; it doesn't create a new one.

Get help with a signup error that persists

Open Ubisoft Help's Contact Us page.

On the form, choose the relevant Game / Service.

Choose the Category presented by the contact flow.

Choose the relevant Subcategory.

Describe the exact error, signup route, device and browser, and fixes you've already tried. Support routing and login requirements depend on the selected issue; some general ticket routes require login.

Keep the report focused on the point where signup stops so support can address the specific failure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a Ubisoft account on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2?

Link your Nintendo Account to the console and launch a supported Ubisoft game. If its main menu offers it, select Ubisoft Connect > Create an account and complete signup. The accounts link after successful login.

Can I create a new Ubisoft account to fix an already-linked console error?

Sign into the Ubisoft account originally associated with that console platform. Ubisoft restricts self-service relinking to the same originally connected platform account. Contact Ubisoft if a different platform account must be linked.

Is a phone number required for every Ubisoft signup?

The web signup form does not list a phone number as a universal requirement. If your flow requests phone association, use a number you legitimately control. Avoid repeatedly submitting a rejected number, because repeated attempts can prevent association.

Can I correct my email address after creating the account?

Yes, if you can access the account and verify the current email. Open Account information > Log in information > Edit. Verify the current email, enter the new address, select Send, enter its verification code, and select Confirm. Addresses already or recently associated with another Ubisoft account cannot be used, and recent changes can prevent another change.
