Xbox Wire has published its Next Week on Xbox roundup covering games headed to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass. The weekly feature tracks titles dated August 3 through 7, 2026, and notes that release dates remain subject to change.
August 3 brings Beast of Reincarnation to Game Pass as an Optimized for Xbox Series X|S release. Xbox describes a post-apocalyptic Japan action RPG centered on outcast Emma and blighted dog Koo, with intertwined fates and companion-driven combat.
The same day also adds Detective Holmes: Hidden Objects, a Sherlock Holmes mystery with Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere, plus Space Tail: Definitive Edition, an Optimized Series title about dog Bea whose sniffing, listening, and observing power a detective-style exploration mode.
On August 4, Kynseed arrives Optimized for Xbox Series X|S. Xbox frames it as a life sim sandbox RPG from veterans of the Fable series, with a handcrafted 2D open world for farming, business, family, crafting, and monster battles.
Fading Clouds also lands that day as a peaceful sky puzzle adventure in which each step reshapes the path ahead.
August 5 adds Mate’Morphosis with Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere. Xbox calls it a chess-inspired puzzle game in which your single piece transforms into captured pieces across retro 2D pixel stages with quick restarts and rising difficulty.
Five Hearts Under One Roof joins the same window as an Xbox Play Anywhere first-person interactive FMV romance built around branching choices and multiple endings.
August 6 packs Aery, Surreal World, a relaxing story-driven flight exploration game through dreamlike worlds; Herd Dispatch, a cozy sheep-routing puzzle; Montabi, a creature-collector roguelike deckbuilder with Smart Delivery and Play Anywhere; Sokogem, a minimalist gem-pushing logic puzzler; Vengeance of Mr. Peppermint, a hardcore side-scrolling beat-’em-up with Smart Delivery; and Yellowcreek Stories, The Cabin Watcher, a first-person stealth horror title focused on sound, light, and movement with Xbox Play Anywhere.
August 7 closes the window with INK ENIGMA 2: Hidden Object Challenges, John Fox, Limbot for up to four players in a physics-based cardboard robot stomp, The Relic: First Guardian as an action RPG set in ruined Arsilthus with freely swappable relic passives, and Tailbreak, a dinosaur on-rails shooter with Xbox Play Anywhere support.
