For just $62.99, below its 30-day average of $86.70. The 90-day average is $87.26 and the 180-day average is $87.24, meaning this fryer has held steady around $87 for months. A drop below $63 is an outlier worth acting on.

What You're Getting

The Hamilton Beach 35042 packs 1800 watts of power with an immersed heating element that fries food fast and evenly. The 5-liter oil capacity handles up to 13 cups of food at once, making it a solid option for family dinners or game-day spreads. The chrome-plated basket includes hooks that let you drain excess oil directly over the tank, cutting down on counter mess. Cleanup is straightforward: the enamel-coated oil tank has a pour spout for disposing of used oil, and the tank, basket, and lid are all dishwasher-safe. A magnetic power cord detaches instantly if tugged, which helps prevent tipping accidents.

Who This Is For

Best for home cooks who want restaurant-style fried food without the hassle of a stovetop pot and thermometer. If you regularly cook for four or more people or host gatherings where fried apps disappear fast, the 13-cup capacity gives you room to work.

Skip this if you rarely fry at home or only cook for one or two -- a smaller unit would suit you better and take up less counter space.

Final Verdict

At $62.99. This is the lowest this model has seen against a consistent $87 average over the past six months. If you've been thinking about adding a dedicated fryer to your kitchen, now is the time to pull the trigger.
