When your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6's keyboard disappears, it usually happens right when you need to reply to a message or search for something. This can be a temporary software hiccup, and there's a good chance you can get it back with a quick restart of the app or the phone itself.

Restart the Keyboard App

Force stopping the keyboard app is often the fastest fix. It clears out any temporary glitch that's preventing it from loading. On your Z Flip 6, you'll want to look for the Samsung Keyboard app specifically.

Open Settings and go to Apps. You might need to tap the three-dot menu and select Show system apps to find it. Scroll down, tap on Samsung Keyboard, and then hit Force Stop. Exit Settings and try opening an app that needs text input to see if the keyboard pops up.

Perform a Quick Restart
