SpaceXAI has introduced Grok Bot, a team of always-on AI agents designed to handle professional tasks in the background while users focus on other work. The new product is built to seamlessly handle a wide range of professional work, marking Elon Musk's company's latest push into the AI assistant space.
The tool can sign into various apps and websites, retain information from prior tasks, and let bots share details and context with each other, according to the company's Tuesday announcement. The system is positioned to work around the clock, with Grok now able to operate as a background team rather than a single assistant.
Grok Bot is currently in beta and available to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS. The rollout targets paying users across those tiers, giving them access to the always-on agent workflow on both platforms.
SpaceXAI has shared a couple of examples of how its own teams are using Grok Bot. The company's introductory material refers to the feature in the plural, even though the product carries the singular name "Grok Bot," a naming quirk that has drawn attention in early coverage.
The launch signals SpaceXAI's effort to keep pace with Anthropic and OpenAI in the increasingly competitive AI assistant market. With Grok Bot handling background assignments, the company is positioning the feature as a way for subscribers to offload routine professional work to AI agents that can coordinate with each other across sessions.
