Google's Pixel 10a will reportedly launch in mid-February with a familiar bright pink color option, according to multiple leaks from retail listings and industry sources. The budget smartphone appears nearly identical to last year's Pixel 9a in both design and specifications.
Leaker Roland Quandt posted on Bluesky that the Pixel 10a will arrive around mid-February with 128GB and 256GB storage options. Retail listings discovered by Droid Life specify February 17, 2026 as the launch date, matching information from multiple European retailers.
The device will come in four colors: Obsidian (black), Berry (pink), Fog (light gray), and Lavender. The Berry hue revives the bright pink shade that debuted on the Pixel 9a as peony, one of Google's most requested color options for its affordable Pixel lineup.
European pricing reportedly starts at €500 (~$580) for the 128GB model and €600 (~$699) for the 256GB version, according to leaks from Arsene Lupin on X. US consumers can expect similar pricing to the Pixel 9a, which launched at $500 for the base model last year.
Official renders from Android Headlines confirm the Pixel 10a maintains thick bezels identical to the Pixel 9a design. The phone features a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, matching the predecessor's specifications.
Google will reportedly use the same Tensor G4 chipset from the Pixel 9a rather than upgrading to the Tensor G5 found in flagship Pixel 10 models. This marks a departure from Google's typical strategy of equipping A-series phones with the same processor as current flagships.
Other specifications mirror the Pixel 9a exactly: 8GB of RAM, 5,100mAh battery capacity, and a dual-camera system with 48-megapixel main and 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensors. Verizon certification documents from December revealed these identical hardware details.
The early February launch continues Google's acceleration of its A-series release schedule. The Pixel 7a arrived in May 2023, Pixel 8a in May 2024, Pixel 9a in April 2025, and now the Pixel 10a potentially in February 2026.
Industry analysts suggest the minimal hardware changes could make the Pixel 10a one of Google's most incremental smartphone updates. The device essentially functions as a rebadged Pixel 9a with new color options and potentially lower pricing in some markets.
For consumers considering an upgrade, the Pixel 9a remains available at discounted prices around $400, offering nearly identical performance to the upcoming model. Google typically releases matching cases for its color variants, with leaks suggesting €20 (~$23) case options will accompany the Pixel 10a launch.
Google has not officially commented on Pixel 10a specifications or launch timing. The company traditionally announces A-series devices through blog posts rather than full-scale launch events, as it continues to refine its product strategy across different market segments including revived product lines.
