Spam calls and unwanted texts are a universal annoyance, but your Redmi Note 14 Pro running HyperOS gives you several straightforward ways to block them. Once a number is blocked, it can't call or send you text messages through the standard phone and messaging apps.
Block a Number from Your Call Log
Open the Phone app and tap the Recents tab. Find the number you want to block, then tap and hold on the entry. A menu will pop up. Select Block from this menu and confirm your choice. The number will be added to your blocked list immediately.
Block a Contact from the Messages App
If you're getting spam texts, open the Messages app. Find the conversation with the unwanted number and tap to open it. Next, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Details.
