Seeing that empty signal bar icon on your Google Pixel 10 Pro is a real headache. It means your phone can't find a cellular network for calls, texts, or mobile data. The good news is, this is almost always something you can fix yourself without a trip to the store.

I'd start with the simplest fix first. Grab your phone and perform a force restart. Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Up button together for about ten seconds. Keep holding until you see the Google logo appear on the screen, then let go.

This clears out any temporary software glitches in Android 15 that might be blocking the cellular radio. It's the equivalent of pulling the plug and plugging it back in, and it solves a surprising number of issues.

Check Your Immediate Surroundings and Settings

Before we dig deeper, let's rule out the easy stuff. First, pull down the Quick Settings panel from the top of your screen twice. Look for the Airplane Mode icon and make absolutely sure it's turned off. It's easy to tap by accident.

Next, think about your location. Are you in a basement, a large concrete building, or a remote area? Physical barriers can block signal. Try moving near a window or stepping outside to see if bars reappear.

Check for Software Updates

Google frequently releases updates for Pixel phones that include bug fixes for connectivity issues. It's always worth checking if you're running the latest version of Android 15.
