Ned Leeds built it on screen to track Spider-Man. Now fans can use it for real.

Samsung and Sony Pictures are turning a plot device from Spider-Man: Brand New Day into a live, interactive global campaign called the Spidey Tracker. Powered by Samsung Galaxy, the website lets fans follow Spider-Man sightings, unlock hidden easter eggs, and track real-world cast appearances ahead of the film's July 31 release.

In the movie, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) builds the tracker on a Samsung Galaxy device to locate his elusive friend. Samsung rebuilt it as a real website at SpideyTracker.com, available in 35 countries.

Fans can submit their own sightings, follow the @SpideyTracker X account, and get alerts when Spidey pops up at live events, creator videos, or Samsung Experience Stores.

This isn't just a branded microsite. Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy Watch all appear in the film itself. The Z Flip serves as Spider-Man's everyday carry.

The Z Fold and Galaxy Watch are the tools Ned uses to run the tracker in the movie's story. The campaign extends that on-screen integration into real-world locations with live activations and fan-submitted content drops throughout the summer.

"Incorporating Galaxy technology into such a beloved Spider-Man storytelling world gives us a chance to showcase how even your friendly neighborhood hero relies only on Samsung Galaxy," said Keena Grigsby, Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Electronics America.

Sony Pictures' Jeffrey Godsick, Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships, said the collaboration lets fans engage with the film's community-driven spirit beyond the theater. The campaign arrives alongside a fresh wave of Brand New Day marketing.

Sony released a new featurette this week spotlighting Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Jon Bernthal's Punisher, who clash before eventually teaming up in the film. The movie also received an official PG-13 rating for "action, violence, and some language."

Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters July 31. The Spidey Tracker is live now.
