What You're Getting

The Odyssey Neo G9 packs a 57-inch Dual UHD (7680x2160) resolution display with a steep 1000R curve that mimics the natural curvature of the human eye. Key specs include:

• DUHD resolution (7680x2160) - effectively two 4K monitors side by side with no bezel
• 240Hz refresh rate with 1ms (GTG) response time
• DisplayPort 2.1 input for full bandwidth at DUHD and high refresh rates
• Quantum Mini-LED matrix with 2,392 local dimming zones
• VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification with 1,000 nits peak brightness
• AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free variable refresh

This is the first monitor to deliver Dual UHD resolution at 240Hz, and the DisplayPort 2.1 connection is what makes it possible without compression artifacts.

Who This Is For

Best for: Sim racers, flight sim enthusiasts, and productivity users who need the screen real estate of two 4K monitors without the gap in the middle. Also a strong pick for anyone running a high-end GPU (RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX class) who wants to push pixels at high frame rates.

Skip this if desk space is tight or if you are content with a standard 16:9 4K panel for half the price.

Final Verdict

The 240Hz refresh plus DisplayHDR 1000 makes the Odyssey Neo G9 a genuine flagship display at a price that finally reflects its age in the market. If you have the GPU to drive it and the desk to hold it, $1529.99 is the right number to move on.
