Sony has confirmed the PlayStation PULSE Elevate wireless speakers will launch on November 12, priced at $219.99 in the United States, with preorders opening September 1. The pair marks the brand's first dedicated wireless speaker engineered for PlayStation 5 and PC setups.
Preorders begin September 1 at 10 a.m. ET in the US, or 10 a.m. local time elsewhere. Sony is offering the speakers in Midnight Black and White finishes, with the black version available globally through participating retailers and PlayStation Direct where available.
The White edition carries tighter distribution, available on PlayStation Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with other regions limited to select retailers. Sony notes the white colorway is available only while supplies last.
Each PULSE Elevate speaker combines a studio-inspired planar magnetic driver with a dedicated built-in woofer. On PS5, the speakers support Tempest 3D AudioTech for compatible games, and Sony claims the drivers deliver lifelike desktop audio.
PlayStation Link provides the ultra-low-latency, lossless wireless connection for gaming, and a USB-C PlayStation Link adapter ships in the box. Bluetooth is also available, and the speakers can run PlayStation Link and Bluetooth audio simultaneously, letting you hear game audio while receiving music or voice chat from a separate device.
The right speaker houses a built-in microphone with AI-enhanced noise rejection designed to remove unwanted background noise. On PS5 and PC, users can adjust EQ, volume, and microphone settings through system menus, although Sony says the PC options will arrive after launch.
Unlike conventional powered desktop speakers, the PULSE Elevate units pack built-in rechargeable batteries and come with charging docks. That portability extends beyond the desk, since the speakers can pair with PlayStation Portal through PlayStation Link or with compatible mobile devices over Bluetooth.
Outside the US, pricing lands at €219.99 in Europe, £199.99 in the UK, and ¥37,980 in Japan. Sony first teased the PULSE Elevate during a September 2025 State of Play event without a date or price, and the speakers now fill the final gap in the Pulse lineup following the Elite headset and Explore earbuds.
