Samsung has scheduled a Galaxy Event for August 27, and while the company stops short of naming the device, the announcement points squarely at the Galaxy S26 FE. Samsung's official invitation describes the event as introducing "the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family" without explicitly confirming the Fan Edition model.
The livestreamed launch will take place on August 27 at 9 PM KST (5 AM PT/8 AM ET) on Samsung's website and YouTube channel. The company has not confirmed pricing or a release date yet, leaving those details for the event itself.
A YouTube teaser carries the tagline "Welcome to Galaxy S" and shows three drinks on a pill-shaped platter, a layout that mirrors the triple-camera housing seen across recent Galaxy S26 FE leaks. That design reportedly marks a visual break from the individually protruding lenses on the Galaxy S25 FE, with leakers pointing to a pill-shaped module raised above the back panel.
Other leaked specs include a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos 2500 chipset, a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging, and One UI 9. Samsung followed a similar approach last year, teasing the Galaxy S25 FE without naming it before the reveal.
Digital Trends notes that with leaks having revealed nearly everything about the Galaxy S26 FE, pricing and a release date may be the only real news left for the August 27 event.
