Samsung Electronics announced on August 24 that the Galaxy Buds4 Pro has received the EISA In-Ear Headphones 2026-2027 Award from the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, marking the first time a Galaxy Buds product has earned this recognition from the organization.

The EISA Awards rank among the most authoritative annual acknowledgments of audio quality in global consumer electronics. A panel of expert editors from top technology publications across more than 25 countries judges the accolades, providing an independent assessment of audio performance and innovation.

Ljubisa Miodragovic, President at EISA, credited the earbuds' two-way speaker design, which pairs individual amplifiers dedicated to the woofer and tweeter, for producing "clean, musical detail." He also highlighted the device's Sensor Fusion technology, which combines a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit with DNN-powered noise reduction to support exceptionally clear calls.

Samsung positions the Galaxy Buds4 Pro as its most advanced audio experience to date. The hardware includes a newly designed wider woofer that increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% over the previous generation, paired with a dedicated tweeter for clean bass and rich treble, plus 24-bit/96 kHz UHQ audio true to the original recording.

EISA experts praised the buds for limiting distortion across the frequency range.

The award validates the engineering philosophy behind the product, which Samsung describes as delivering sound as it was meant to be heard. The company says the recognition reinforces its push into premium wireless audio through advanced hardware, intelligent software, and user-centric design.

EISA's praise also highlights the Buds4 Pro's balance of audio performance, call quality, and everyday usability.

Han-gil Moon, Master and Head of the Audio Group in Samsung's Mobile eXperience Business, said the award affirms the company's commitment to audio engineering excellence and its promise of premium sound quality. He added that users can be confident the Buds4 Pro are built to provide a satisfying sound experience, with Samsung planning to build on that foundation for richer listening experiences in the future.
