Character proportions present the primary technical challenge. South Park's 10-year-old characters require mech suits to match Fortnite's standard hitboxes, similar to The Simpsons crossover approach. Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny will reportedly feature in pilotable exoskeletons.
The Stick of Truth Mythic weapon represents the collaboration's gameplay centerpiece. Leaks suggest it grants storm modification abilities, potentially allowing players to push back storm circles or summon lightning strikes. This follows Fortnite's pattern of introducing powerful crossover-exclusive items.
Fortnite design director Ted Timmins expressed personal excitement for the project. "Working on this one made me so happy," Timmins posted on social media. "Working at Epic allows you to have your childhood dreams come true."
