You can also reach Replay through the Steam Store, including the Store inside the desktop client. Once you have opened your recap, you can choose an available previous year, share it, or save a summary image.

  • Store shortcut: Select Special Sections > Steam Replay, opening More first on a narrow phone screen.

Open your Replay in a browser

Open the direct Replay link above on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS. Sign in to the account whose recap you want to see, complete Steam Guard verification if requested, and scroll through the results. You do not need the desktop client for this route.

You can also open the older Year In Review address and sign in. Valve still supports this address alongside the Replay address, so it remains a working entry point.

Find Replay in the Steam Store

On a computer, open the Steam Store website or select Store in the desktop Steam client. In the Store navigation, select Special Sections > Steam Replay. Sign in if requested to open your account’s recap.

In your phone’s browser, open the Steam Store and tap More, then tap Steam Replay under Special Sections. Wider layouts show Special Sections directly. If you are looking for the older New & Noteworthy menu, use Special Sections instead.

If you have Valve’s “Your 2024 Steam Replay is here!” announcement open in Steam News, select Take a look at your own or the linked Steam Replay text. Both open the general Replay entry page. The announcement’s date does not lock that link to the 2024 edition.

View Replay on Steam Deck

On Steam Deck, press the STEAM button and select Power > Switch to Desktop. Open an available browser, visit the direct Replay page, and sign in to your account. You can use this browser route on both LCD and OLED Steam Deck models running current SteamOS.

Press STEAM + X when you need the on-screen keyboard to enter your details. After signing in, scroll through the recap in the browser. You need a browser available in Desktop Mode to use this route.

Choose a previous Replay

Scroll through your Replay to Check out your other Replay pages! and select an available year. Existing account Replays can cover 2022 through 2025, but the year links you can select depend on your account.

You can also open a particular year by adding your numeric Steam ID, a slash, and the year after the trailing slash in the Replay entry address. The same account and year format works with the Year In Review address. These addresses open existing recaps for your account.

While viewing someone else’s accessible Replay, sign in to your own Steam account and select See Your Own!. That control opens your Replay for the same year as the page you were viewing.

Share your Replay and open other recaps

Beside Share, set your Replay’s visibility dropdown to Friends Only or Public. Select Share > Copy Link, then send the copied link to the people you want to see it. These visibility controls apply specifically to your Replay.

Friends opening a Friends Only Replay link must sign in to view it, while adult Steam Family members have separate access to family members’ Replays. Choosing Private restricts ordinary viewing through a shared link. If someone cannot open your shared recap, check your Replay visibility and have them sign in when needed.

To browse friends’ recaps, open your own Replay while signed in and find Some of your friends have shared their Steam Replay pages. Select a friend’s avatar to open their recap. You will see that section when qualifying shared Replays from your friends are available.

If you are an adult Steam Family member, find Members of your Steam Family in your own Replay and select a member’s avatar. Adult members automatically have access to family members’ Replays. If your account is a child member, you do not receive that special access privilege.

Save a summary image

Select Share, choose a summary format, and select See Full Image to enlarge it. In a regular browser, select Save Image to download the summary. You get a condensed image of your recap, while the full interactive Replay remains on the page.

If you cannot find Save Image in the desktop Steam client, open Replay in a regular browser to download it. Steam Mobile’s embedded interface provides Share Image instead. For a capture of a particular part of your recap, follow the steps to take a screenshot on your device.

Add Replay to your Steam profile

Open your Replay and select Add Profile Showcase to display a condensed recap on your profile. In the showcase editor’s dropdown, select Steam Replay and save your changes. Revisit your profile to see the summary.

For another Replay showcase, open Profile Showcase Upgrades in the Steam Points Shop. Under ADDITIONAL SHOWCASES, select STEAM REPLAY, which costs 6,000 Steam Points, then configure it in your profile’s showcase editor. You only need this optional purchase for an additional profile display; viewing your full Replay is free.
