Capturing what's on your OnePlus 13 Pro's screen is a daily task, whether you're saving a confirmation number or sharing a funny meme. With OxygenOS 15, you have several quick ways to do it, from classic button presses to clever gestures.
Press the Power and Volume Down Buttons
The most reliable method on your OnePlus 13 Pro is the classic button combo. Just press the Power button and the Volume Down button at the exact same time. Hold them for a split second and then let go. You'll see a quick flash, hear a shutter sound, and a small preview thumbnail will pop up in the bottom corner. You can tap that preview to edit or share right away, or just let it vanish and the screenshot will save to your gallery automatically.
Swipe Down with Three Fingers
This is the signature OnePlus screenshot gesture and it's incredibly fast once you get the hang of it. Simply place three fingers anywhere on the screen and swipe down in one smooth motion. The entire screen will capture instantly. I find this is the easiest method when you're reading an article or browsing an app, as you don't have to fumble for the physical buttons.
If the three-finger swipe doesn't work, you might need to enable it first. Go to Settings > Additional settings > Gestures & motions and make sure Three-finger screenshot is toggled on.
Use the Quick Settings Tile
For a tap-based method, use the Quick Settings panel. Swipe down from the top of your screen twice to open the full panel. Look for a tile that says Screenshot. If you don't see it, tap the pencil icon to edit your tiles, find the Screenshot tile, and drag it into your active set.
Once it's there, you can tap it anytime to capture your screen. This is perfect if the buttons are stiff or you're using your phone in a case that makes the gesture a bit tricky.
Take a Screenshot from Recent Apps
This is a handy method if you're already switching between apps. Swipe up from the bottom and hold to enter the Recent Apps view. You'll see all your open apps as cards. Look at the bottom of the card for the app you want to capture, and you should see a Screenshot button. Tapping it will take a screenshot of just that app's window.
Ask Google Assistant
When your hands are literally full, you can use your voice. Just say, "Hey Google, take a screenshot." Your OnePlus 13 Pro will capture the screen immediately. You can also activate the Assistant by holding the power button or swiping from a corner, then type the command. The screenshot saves directly to your gallery, just like the other methods.
Capture Long Scrolling Screenshots
Need to save an entire webpage or a long chat thread? OnePlus has a great scrolling screenshot feature. First, take a regular screenshot using any method. When the preview thumbnail appears at the bottom, look for a button that says Scroll capture or has an arrow pointing down.
Tap it, and your phone will automatically scroll down and capture the next section, stitching it to the first image. You can keep tapping the button to capture as much length as you need. It stops automatically when it reaches the bottom of the page or if there's no more content to scroll through.
Edit and Share Right After Capturing
That little preview thumbnail is your gateway to quick edits. Tap on it before it disappears to open the built-in editor. You can immediately crop the image, draw on it with different colors, add text, or blur sensitive info with the highlighter tool. When you're done, tap the share icon to send it directly through Messages, Gmail, or any other app without ever leaving the screenshot.
Find Your Saved Screenshots
All your screenshots are neatly organized in one place. Open the Google Photos app that comes on your phone. Go to the Library tab at the bottom, and then select the Screenshots album. Every capture will be there in chronological order.
You can also find the raw image files through the Files app. Navigate to Internal storage > Pictures > Screenshots. This folder is where all the images are physically stored on your device.
