Why This Matters

The listing says the three-quarter-horsepower motor quickly reaches its maximum speed with high torque, so food is less likely to jam or clog. The listing says the over-2,700 RPM speed supports a fast, fine grind, citing RPM testing of cleared GE and competitive models. Drain Boost technology uses an angled fin to pump water down with more force, which can help clear drains and reduce clogs during everyday use.

What You're Getting

The disposal includes noise cancellation and anti-jamming features, along with a control switch and splash guard. Its EZ Mount installation is designed with fewer parts and steps, and a three-bolt mount adapter kit is included in the box. The package also contains a flange, mounting system and stopper. The unit is compatible with a dishwasher drain connection, and the listing identifies a compatible power cord, part number WC12X10002, though a cord is not among the pieces listed as included. Assembly and mounting are required, and additional tools are needed but not included.

Who This Is For

This disposal suits a household that wants a continuous feed unit with a 34-ounce grind chamber for regular kitchen cleanup. Its EZ Mount design and included adapter kit can benefit a buyer replacing an existing disposal, and the dishwasher drain compatibility helps in kitchens with that setup.

Final Verdict

At the listed sale price, this GE Appliances disposal offers a three-quarter-horsepower motor, a continuous feed design and mounting hardware in one package. Before buying, confirm that the mounting configuration matches your sink setup, and account for the tools and compatible power cord that are not listed as included.
