Why This Matters

The integrated foot switch allows hands-free operation, which is useful when your hands are full or when the lamp sits behind a sofa or chair. Because the lamp is plug-in, placement depends on access to an outlet rather than ceiling wiring. The single light source is designed for targeted illumination, with the shade also casting ambient light into the room.

What You're Getting

The fixture uses a curved iron frame with a black rubber-coated finish and paint distressing. Its beige linen drum shade directs light downward and into the room, and the lamp accepts one E26 medium standard bulb. It is sold as a single lamp rather than a set, and assembly is required.

Who This Is For

This lamp suits renters or homeowners who want an arched floor lamp without hardwiring, and who would rather turn it on and off with a foot switch than reach under a shade. It fits a reading corner or the space behind a sofa or armchair where an outlet is close by. Buyers who want a matching set of lamps, or who would rather avoid assembly, should look at other options.

Final Verdict

At the listed price, this arched lamp offers a straightforward way to light a seating area from above. Weigh the assembly requirement, and note that the listing does not name a bulb among the included pieces. The foot switch and plug-in design keep daily use simple once it is set up.
