Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 owners can now connect their watches to Peloton products via the Wear OS app. This announcement comes after the Peloton app was introduced on Wear OS earlier this year.

With this new integration, users can link the Peloton app on their watch directly to select Peloton products, which will display their current heart rate within the Peloton interface. This includes both the display on exercise equipment and TVs in the case of Peloton Guide. While the Apple Watch has similar functionality, it is limited to the Peloton Bike+.

The new integration works through the Peloton app for Wear OS, which launched for all Wear OS smartwatches last year. When a user selects a workout on their Peloton gear, the Peloton app on the Galaxy Watch will issue a prompt to pair the two devices. Users can then press “Connect,” and their heart rate detected by the watch will be shown on the Peloton.

The new functionality is available starting today, but it does require a subscription to Peloton, as well as Wi-Fi. Compatible Peloton products include the Peloton Bike, Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread, Peloton Row, and Peloton Guide.
