Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra colors leaked via SIM card trays, revealing black, white, blue, and purple options for the February flagship. The purple "Ultraviolet" variant will serve as the marketing hero color, replacing earlier orange rumors that suggested Apple imitation.
Leaker Ice Universe shared images of four color-matched SIM trays on X, confirming the Galaxy S26 Ultra's base color lineup. Ahmed Qwaider separately verified Ultraviolet as the primary marketing shade, with Black Shadow, White Shadow, and Galactical Blue completing the standard options.
Orange will not appear among standard colors despite earlier leaks showing dummy units with the bright hue. Samsung may still offer orange as a Samsung.com exclusive, following its pattern of reserving special finishes for direct sales.
The color names notably lack "Titanium" prefixes, supporting rumors that Samsung will ditch titanium frames for aluminum. Apple made a similar move with iPhone 17 Pro models last year, citing aluminum's superior heat dissipation properties.
Samsung's Galaxy S26 series launches February 25 with sales beginning March 11, according to multiple sources. The company confirmed the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra lineup through Colombian promotional materials, ending speculation about Pro or Edge variants.
Charging specifications show clear differentiation across models. The base Galaxy S26 maintains 25W wired charging, while the S26+ reaches 45W and the S26 Ultra hits 60W. All three support wireless charging, with the Ultra offering 25W wireless capabilities.
Battery capacities follow established patterns with modest improvements. The Galaxy S26 gains a 4,300mAh battery (up from 4,000mAh), while the S26+ retains 4,900mAh and the Ultra stays at 5,000mAh. Internal magnets for accessory attachment appear across the lineup.
The Ultra model reportedly features a thinner profile than its predecessor and maintains the 200MP main camera with a new 24MP shooting mode. RAM is expected to remain at 12GB for most markets, with 16GB variants potentially limited to select regions like China.
Purple has emerged as a flagship favorite across manufacturers, appearing on recent iPhone models and other premium devices. Samsung's Ultraviolet shade represents a refined, business-appropriate alternative to the bold orange that dominated earlier speculation.
Retailers consistently report black as the most popular color choice among buyers. Samsung's four base colors will ship to carriers and retailers, while exclusive online finishes typically arrive weeks after launch.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra's design remains largely unchanged from previous generations, with squared edges and familiar camera housing. Display brightness improvements and privacy screen technology represent the most significant user-facing upgrades.
Samsung's decision to skip orange follows market feedback on the Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air models, which received mixed responses for their premium pricing. The company appears focused on maintaining traditional flagship appeal rather than chasing temporary color trends.
February's Galaxy Unpacked event will officially reveal all specifications and pricing. Pre-orders typically begin immediately after announcement, with carrier promotions and trade-in deals following the March 11 sales start date.
