The premature listings reveal Samsung is bringing its new Exynos 1680 processor and advanced AI features to mid-range devices. The Galaxy A57 will include Transcript Assist, an AI tool that converts voice recordings and calls into text for students, meetings, and interviews. This marks one of Samsung's first attempts to bring premium AI capabilities down to its A-series lineup.

The Galaxy A57 features a 6.6-inch 1080p+ OLED display while the A37 has a 6.7-inch panel, both with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits peak brightness. The A57 adds HDR10+ support while the A37 misses this feature again.

They use different processors, the A57 gets the new Exynos 1680 while the A37 runs on Exynos 1480.

In Kenya, the Galaxy A37 shows three memory configurations: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB priced between KES 39,000 and KES 57,000 ($300-$440). The Galaxy A57 offers only two options, 8/128GB and 8/256GB, ranging from KES 56,000 to KES 64,000 ($430-$495).

Both models feature aluminum frames for the A57 versus plastic for the A37, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection front and back, IP68 ratings, and identical 5,000mAh batteries with 45W wired charging.

Thailand listings show different configurations including a Galaxy A57 with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage priced at ฿20,999 ($570), available at a promotional price of ฿17,999 ($490). The Galaxy A37 appears with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for ฿13,999 ($380).

Samsung will officially unveil both devices tomorrow in India at 5:30 PM local time according to a company tweet. The phones will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box with six major OS updates guaranteed.
