Paramount+ is on your TV, but the sign-in screen can send you in a few different directions. You may see a code, a direct email-and-password form, a partner login, or a device-specific sign-up screen.

Start with the method shown on your screen. The steps below cover the current Paramount+ app paths, partner activation, supported casting, and the older advice to skip.

1. Start with the activation code

Use this when your TV or streaming device shows a Paramount+ activation code. This is the standard sign-in route for many connected-device apps.

  1. 1.Open the Paramount+ app on your TV or device.
  2. 2.Select Sign In.
  3. 3.Select On the Web.
  4. 4.Keep the activation code visible on the TV screen.
  5. 5.On a phone or computer, open the URL shown on the TV. Current Paramount+ activation URLs include paramountplus.com/tv, paramountplus.com/appletv, paramountplus.com/androidtv, paramountplus.com/firetv, paramountplus.com/roku, paramountplus.com/samsungtv, paramountplus.com/vizio, paramountplus.com/lg, paramountplus.com/playstation, and paramountplus.com/xbox.
  6. 6.Sign in with your Paramount+ account when prompted.
  7. 7.Enter the activation code.
  8. 8.Select Activate or Submit.

Your TV should refresh after the code is accepted. If the screen stays stuck, close the Paramount+ app, reopen it, and run the code flow again.

2. Sign in on the TV instead

Some Paramount+ apps let you enter your account details directly on the device. Open Paramount+, select Sign In, choose On my TV or On My TV, enter the email address and password used for Paramount+, then select Sign In. Use the Paramount+ account login here; your Roku, Amazon, Apple, Google, Samsung, or TV-provider login belongs in a partner or billing flow, not this direct Paramount+ sign-in screen.

3. Install the app from the right store

  • Roku: Add Paramount+ from the Roku Channel Store.
  • Fire TV and Fire tablets: Download Paramount+ from the Amazon Appstore.
  • iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV: Install Paramount+ from the Apple App Store.
  • Android, Android TV, and Google TV: Install Paramount+ from Google Play.
  • Samsung TV: Install Paramount+ from the Samsung App Store.
  • Desktop or mobile web: Open paramountplus.com.

If Paramount+ is not on the device yet, install it from the device’s built-in app store or search surface. Device access is controlled by the model, operating system, country, plan, and app store available on that device.

4. Create a new subscription

The simplest sign-up path is the Paramount+ website: go to paramountplus.com, select GET STARTED or Sign Up, choose a plan, create or sign in to a Paramount+ account, enter payment information, and complete the subscription. Then use that same Paramount+ email and password on your supported devices.

Device-based sign-up uses different billing systems, so follow the exact screen for your platform.

  • Samsung TV: Launch Paramount+, note the access code, go to paramountplus.com/samsungtv, enter the code, click Activate, choose a plan, click Continue, create or sign in to a Paramount+ account, enter payment information, click Start Paramount+, then return to the TV.
  • LG TV: Go to paramountplus.com/lgtv on a phone or computer, click Sign Up, create or sign in to a Paramount+ account, choose a plan, click Continue, enter payment information, click Agree & Subscribe, then sign in on the LG TV.
  • Roku: Add the Paramount+ channel, launch it, select Sign Up, confirm the pre-populated Roku information on the Create Account screen, select Next, enter your Roku PIN, choose a subscription plan, then return to the Paramount+ home screen.
  • Fire TV: Launch Paramount+, select Sign Up, choose a plan, tap Continue, enter your full name, email address, and password, tap Next, then confirm Amazon billing information.
  • Android TV or Google TV: Launch Paramount+, select Sign Up, choose a plan, tap Continue, enter your full name, email address, and password, then tap Subscribe.
  • Apple TV: Launch Paramount+, select Sign Up, choose a plan, tap Continue, enter your full name, email address, and password, then tap Subscribe.
  • Xbox: Open Paramount+, select Try Paramount+, note the access code, go to paramountplus.com/tv, enter the code, click Activate, choose a plan, click Continue, create or sign in to a Paramount+ account, enter the requested information, and click Start Paramount+.

5. Pick the Roku and console labels

Roku uses a specific sign-in label for existing subscribers.

Install and launch the Paramount+ channel, select Sign In With An Account, enter the email and password used to sign up for Paramount+, then select Sign In. On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, use the web code flow: launch Paramount+, select Sign In, choose On the Web, go to paramountplus.com/playstation on a phone or computer, sign in if prompted, enter the activation code, and select Activate.

For Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, LG TV, Vizio TV, Xbox, Xfinity devices, and other supported connected devices, use either On the Web activation or On my TV direct sign-in when those choices appear.

  • TV provider: Open the Paramount+ app, select Sign In With A Partner or Sign In, choose Connect Provider (on Roku the label is Link with Partner Account), select your TV provider, go to paramountplus.com/activate or the displayed device URL, enter the activation code, then sign in on the TV provider page with your provider username and password.
  • Spectrum: Go to paramountplus.com/partner/spectrum, enter your Spectrum username and password on the verification page, create or sign in to a Paramount+ account, then stream on supported devices with the Paramount+ login.
  • Apple TV Channels: Go to paramountplus.com/partner, select Apple, sign in with the Apple TV account used for the channel subscription, create a Paramount+ username and password, then use that Paramount+ login in the app or on the web.
  • The Roku Channel: Go to paramountplus.com/partner, select Roku, sign in with your Roku account information to verify the Paramount+ subscription through The Roku Channel, then use the resulting Paramount+ access in the Paramount+ app or on the web.
  • Walmart+: Sign in to your Walmart account, go to Account, select Walmart+, and open Benefits Hub. Walmart's current help says to find Paramount+ Essential and select Get Paramount+. If your hub shows the Video Streaming Choice tile instead, select Make your pick, choose Paramount+, and click Select this service. Then create or sign in to a Paramount+ account and start streaming.
  • T-Mobile: In T Life, go to Manage, select See plans, choose Manage add-ons, open Services, select Paramount+ Essential or Paramount+ Premium, tap Continue, select Agree & Submit, open Activation Hub, choose the service, select Start Activation, open the Paramount+ page, select Activate Paramount+, sign in or create an account, enter your password, allow T-Mobile access, and select Continue.

If your Paramount+ access comes from another company, connect that partner first. After the account is linked, use the Paramount+ app or website with the verified access route for that partner.

For Walmart+, Paramount+ recommends using the same email as your Walmart+ account. If you already pay directly for Paramount+ or Peacock, cancel that existing subscription and wait until it expires before activating the Walmart+ streaming benefit.

7. Cast it without TV activation

Chromecast gives you a clean route when you do not want to activate a TV app.

  1. 1.Install the latest Paramount+ app on an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.
  2. 2.Connect the phone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast.
  3. 3.Open Paramount+.
  4. 4.Sign in with your Paramount+ account.
  5. 5.Tap the Cast icon in the playback window.
  6. 6.Select your Chromecast device.

On Xumo TV and Xumo Stream Box, say Paramount+ into the Xumo voice remote to launch the app. Xumo says apps are automatically loaded on Xumo TV and Xumo Stream Box, so there is no separate download step there.

8. Avoid outdated activation fixes

Skip smart TV web browser streaming for Paramount+ content. Paramount+ says smart TV web browsers are not supported, so use the native Paramount+ app, a supported streaming device or game console, Chromecast, or a computer or mobile browser. Also skip CBS All Access activation paths, standalone SHOWTIME app activation paths, and standalone Paramount+ app install instructions for Apple TV 3rd generation. Current Apple TV support is for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD running tvOS 16 or later. For older Apple TV hardware, use Apple TV Channels where available, casting where supported, or a newer streaming device.

9. Remove access or cancel billing

Deleting the Paramount+ app does not cancel the subscription.

To remove account access from activated devices, open Paramount+ account settings on the web, scroll to Manage Devices, and next to Manage Devices, click Sign Out of All Devices. Paramount+ sends a confirmation email for security.

To cancel a subscription billed by Paramount+ on the web, smart TV, Xbox, PS4, or PS5, go to paramountplus.com, click your username or user initials, choose Account, scroll down, and select Cancel subscription. If you subscribed through Roku, Amazon, Apple, Google Play, Walmart+, T-Mobile, or a TV provider, manage cancellation through that billing partner.
