Technics doesn't discount its reference-class audio gear often, making this worth a closer look for anyone in the market for premium wireless earbuds.

What You're Getting

The AZ100 earbuds pack Technics' magnetic fluid drivers for low distortion and a wide frequency range. Dolby Atmos with head tracking creates spatial audio that shifts as you move.

Adaptive noise canceling adjusts to your environment automatically, and the Voice Focus AI chip keeps calls clear in noisy settings. Three-device multipoint lets you switch between a phone, laptop, and tablet without re-pairing.

Battery life hits 10 hours per charge with ANC on (28 hours with the case), and wireless charging is built in. The earbuds are 10% smaller and 16% lighter than the AZ80, with a lower profile for a more comfortable fit.

Who This Is For

Best for: audiophiles who want reference-class sound without carrying over-ear cans. The magnetic fluid drivers and Dolby Atmos head tracking make these a strong pick for music listeners who prioritize detail and soundstage.

If you already own the AZ80, the fit improvements and AI noise canceling are meaningful upgrades. Skip these if you only need basic wireless earbuds for calls and podcasts - the price reflects the audio engineering inside.

The Caveat

No all-time low data is available since these are a new model, so this discount may deepen over time. If you don't need Dolby Atmos head tracking or multipoint connectivity, cheaper options from Sony and Sennheiser cover the basics for less.

Final Verdict

For $247.99, the AZ100 delivers reference-class sound with features that justify the premium over mid-range earbuds. The magnetic fluid drivers and spatial audio make this a legitimate upgrade for anyone coming from standard true wireless models.
