For just $623.90, this sits below its 30-day average of $722.50 and under its 90-day average of $753.26. The 180-day moving average of $728.95 means you're paying roughly $105 less than what this box has typically sold for over the last six months.

That's a meaningful gap for a contractor-grade power distribution unit.

What You're Getting

This is a GFCI-protected temporary power box housed in 14-gauge steel. It handles 50 amps at 125/250V through a 6-5-20 U-Ground/Straight Blade configuration.

UL 943 compliant. Flame and impact resistant.

Southwire designed it for generator hookup and jobsite power distribution where standard residential boxes would fail. The steel casing takes drops, debris, and weather without cracking.

Who This Is For

General contractors, electricians, and anyone running temporary power on active jobsites. Also a fit for homeowners wiring a new build or managing generator power during extended outages.

Skip this if you only need a basic extension cord setup or a lightweight box for occasional garage use - this is overkill for light duty.

Final Verdict

A rugged jobsite power box at $623.90 is a fair price on any day. At $98.60 below its recent average, it's the right time to buy if you need 50-amp temporary power distribution this season.
