For just $1047.99, below its 30-day average of $1649.59. This price sits well under the TV's recent pricing trend, making it a clear value proposition for anyone who's been tracking this model. The discount brings the Q80D closer to entry-level QLED pricing while maintaining its feature advantages.

What You're Getting

The Samsung Q80D delivers Quantum Dot color technology with 100% color volume, ensuring vibrant hues at any brightness level. Its Direct Full Array backlighting provides precise contrast control across the entire screen, handling both deep blacks and bright whites effectively.

You're getting Quantum HDR+ for enhanced dynamic range, plus a 120Hz Motion Xcelerator panel for smooth motion handling in fast-paced content. The TV includes Dolby Atmos support and Object Tracking Sound Lite for virtual 3D audio that follows on-screen action.

Real Depth Enhancer technology mimics human depth perception by adjusting foreground contrast.

Who This Is For

Best for viewers upgrading from older 4K LED sets who want better contrast and color without stepping up to OLED pricing. This works well for mixed-use living rooms where ambient light is a concern, thanks to the Direct Full Array system.

The Caveat

While the Q80D offers excellent value at this price, it's not Samsung's top-tier QLED model. Those wanting maximum brightness for HDR impact or more advanced gaming features might consider the Q90D series. The Object Tracking Sound Lite is a virtual implementation, not the full physical speaker array found on higher-end models.

Final Verdict

At $1047.99, the 75-inch Samsung Q80D becomes a compelling upgrade for anyone with a 65-inch or smaller TV looking to expand their screen real estate. The combination of Quantum Dot color, full-array local dimming, and 120Hz refresh rate delivers performance that typically costs several hundred dollars more.

Move now if you need a bright room TV with strong HDR capabilities before summer viewing season arrives.
