What You're Getting

This is an 8-inch powered subwoofer pushing 60 watts RMS, housed in a black wood cabinet with a cloth grille. Key specs include a 50-250 Hz frequency response and an adjustable lowpass crossover filter (50-150 Hz) with gain control for dialing in the right blend with your existing speakers.

It accepts high-level inputs from stereo speaker outputs and line-level RCA inputs, making it compatible with both standard stereo amps and 5.1 surround systems. Auto-on functionality means it powers up when it detects a signal -- no manual switching.

Dimensions are 13.75 x 11.75 x 11.75 inches, so it fits under a desk or next to a media console without dominating the room.

Who This Is For

Best for: first-time subwoofer buyers building a budget 2.1 or 5.1 setup, or anyone adding low-end to a desktop audio rig. The high-level inputs make it a clean drop-in for systems without a dedicated sub out.

Skip this if you need room-shaking output for a large home theater -- 60 watts is modest, and larger spaces will want a 10- or 12-inch driver with more power.

Final Verdict

At $119.99. This is a no-brainer upgrade for anyone running TV speakers or small bookshelf monitors who wants proper bass extension without overcomplicating the setup. The 20% savings against its recent average makes this a buy-now price for budget builders.
