For just $1699, below its 30-day average of $2008.84. Over the past 90 days, this configuration has averaged $1914.30, making today's price a clear improvement over recent pricing trends. The discount comes at a time when premium ultraportables typically hold their value, making this a worthwhile opportunity for buyers who've been eyeing the gram series.

What You're Getting

This LG gram configuration delivers serious specs in a remarkably light package. You're getting a 17-inch touchscreen display on a laptop that weighs just 3.08 pounds, powered by Intel's Core Ultra 7 255H processor with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD. The Intel Evo Edition certification ensures optimized performance and battery life, while built-in AI tools handle both local and cloud-based tasks. Military-grade durability testing means this thin laptop can handle real-world use, and the 77Wh battery promises up to 20 hours of video playback.

Who This Is For

Best for mobile professionals who need a large screen for spreadsheets, presentations, or creative work but refuse to carry heavy gear. Digital nomads, consultants, and frequent travelers will appreciate the combination of screen real estate and portability.

Students in design or engineering programs could benefit from the performance and display size. Skip this if you're a hardcore gamer or need maximum GPU power for 3D rendering.

The Caveat

While the Intel Arc graphics are capable for everyday tasks and light creative work, they're not designed for serious gaming or professional 3D applications. The 17-inch size, while thin and light, still requires a larger bag than smaller ultraportables.

Final Verdict

At $1699, this LG gram hits a sweet spot for professionals who value screen size and portability equally. The $309 savings versus its recent average makes this a practical time to upgrade from older or smaller laptops.

If you've been waiting for a meaningful discount on a premium 17-inch ultraportable. This is it.
