Why This Matters

The gooseneck can be rotated a full 360 degrees, so the light can be aimed toward a book, keyboard, or other work surface instead of only downward. A memory function restores the last brightness and color temperature when the lamp is turned back on, which can save readjusting settings each time. The included remote attaches magnetically to iron surfaces for convenient access, and the touch switch provides a second control option.

What You're Getting

The fixture uses integrated LED technology with a rated lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, and the LEDs cannot be replaced by the customer. It is dimmable and offers tunable white light with a listed color temperature of 5,000K. A one-hour timer automatically turns the lamp off after 60 minutes. The lamp is plug-in powered, has a rectangular white plastic shade, and is made of metal and iron. Wayfair lists the lamp as 68.5 inches tall in the product title, while its feature description cites a 68.1-inch height; it has an adjustable height. The listing also notes compatibility with Google Assistant.

Who This Is For

This lamp suits renters or homeowners who need a dedicated task light near a reading chair, desk, or hobby table and want to adjust brightness and color temperature without replacing bulbs. It can also work for people who prefer a remote or touch control rather than a traditional switch, or who want a timer to turn the light off automatically. The weighted base is intended to help keep the fixture balanced around children or pets, and the plug-in design requires a nearby outlet.

Final Verdict

At the listed sale price, this lamp offers a specific set of controls and an adjustable gooseneck that may appeal to buyers who want a task light with remote and touch operation. The integrated LEDs cannot be replaced by the customer, so the fixture's useful life depends on the built-in light source. Consider whether the listed height, plug-in power, and Google Assistant compatibility match the intended space before purchasing.
