For just $240, below its 30-day average of $449.61. That average held steady at $449.61 across the last 90 and 180 days too, meaning this is the first real movement on pricing in months.

If you have been waiting on a government-grade encrypted drive, the window is open.

What You're Getting

The datAshur PRO2 is a PIN-authenticated hardware-encrypted USB flash drive that encrypts all data in real time using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. No software installs, no drivers.

Just enter a 7-15 digit PIN and it functions as a normal drive. Disconnect it and everything locks back up.

Key specs:

- FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified for government and compliance use (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)

- IP68 certified: dust and water resistant, built rugged for field carry

- USB 3.2 with read speeds up to 168MB/s and write speeds up to 116MB/s

- Works across Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome, Android, Citrix, and VMware

Without the PIN, the data is inaccessible even if the drive is lost or stolen. That is the whole point.

Who This Is For

Best for IT professionals, government contractors, legal teams, and anyone handling sensitive client data that falls under compliance requirements. If you travel with confidential files or need to transfer data between air-gapped systems. This is the drive to use.

Skip it if you just need a cheap thumb drive for photos and documents -- you are paying for the encryption and certification, not raw storage value.

Final Verdict

A FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified drive at $240 with $209.61 in savings is a rare intersection of price and security. If your workflow demands hardware encryption that actually meets compliance standards. This is the buy.
