What You're Getting

The AERO X16 runs on an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU (Blackwell architecture with DLSS 4 support). It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The 16-inch 165Hz WQXGA display delivers smooth motion at 2560x1600 resolution. GIGABYTE's GiMATE AI assistant adds on-device smart controls. The whole package weighs just 4.18 lbs and measures 0.65 inches thin, making it one of the slimmer RTX 5070 laptops available. Windows 11 Home with full Copilot+ PC features comes pre-installed.

Who This Is For

Best for: creative professionals and gamers who need a single laptop for both workloads. The RTX 5070 handles CUDA-accelerated rendering and DLSS 4 gaming at the same desk.

Students and remote workers who value portability will appreciate the sub-17mm chassis. Skip this if you need a dedicated number pad or prefer a larger 18-inch display.

Final Verdict

For $1696, you get a Copilot+ PC with Blackwell GPU performance in a genuinely thin build. The 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage leave little to upgrade out of the gate.

If you need an AI-ready laptop that doubles as a gaming machine. This is the price to jump on.
