For just $242.15, down from $313.02, this headset undercuts its typical street price by a meaningful margin. The T50RP platform has long been a favorite among audio enthusiasts for its planar-magnetic driver response, and the mk4g+ gaming variant adds a detachable mic and controller cable without compromising the core acoustic design.

What You're Getting

The Fostex T50RPmk4g+ delivers the fastest response speed in the series, giving you excellent sound localization and instrument separation during gameplay. Key specs include:

- Semi-open housing reduces pressure buildup while preserving soundstage width

- Memory foam ear pads designed for extended sessions without fatigue

- Detachable microphone that connects to either the left or right cup for flexible placement

- Microphone controller cable with mute ON/OFF toggle and volume adjustment

- Exceptional clarity on minute audio cues like footsteps, allowing you to pinpoint targets against environmental noise and background music

Who This Is For

This is for competitive gamers who treat audio as a tactical advantage rather than an afterthought. If you play FPS titles where hearing directional footsteps and gunfire positioning means the difference between winning and losing, the T50RPmk4g+'s imaging accuracy justifies the investment.

Casual listeners who want a gaming headset for voice chat and basic game audio can find cheaper options, but this headset rewards players who demand precise spatial awareness.

Final Verdict

A $70.87 discount on a headset that already punches above its weight on soundstage and separation. If you need a wired gaming headset that doubles as a serious listening tool. This is the price to jump on.
