What You're Getting

The Earthquake Sound Supernova MKIV-12 is a dual firing powered subwoofer with SLAPS technology that increases dB levels while saving energy. It features a 450-watt class A/B power amplifier and a 12 dB/octave variable filter ranging from 40 Hz to 180 Hz. The unit includes both high level inputs and low level outputs with automatic signal detection for easy integration into existing systems.

Who This Is For

Best for home theater enthusiasts seeking powerful bass response without premium pricing. This subwoofer works well for medium to large rooms where traditional single-driver models might struggle.

Those with smaller spaces or who prioritize absolute silence during quiet scenes might want to consider smaller alternatives.

The Caveat

At 12 inches, this subwoofer requires adequate floor space and proper placement for optimal performance. The dual-firing design means it needs clearance on both sides for the best acoustic results.

Final Verdict

For $47.51 less than its 30-day average, the Earthquake Sound Supernova MKIV-12 offers solid bass performance for home theater setups. If you need to fill a medium to large room with deep, controlled low frequencies, this price makes it worth considering now.
