For just $149.99, below its 30-day average of $224.50. The headphones have been averaging around $191 over the past 90 days, making this a solid discount from recent pricing.

This is one of the more significant price drops we've seen on this model since its launch.

What You're Getting

The Sony ULT WEAR headphones feature signature noise canceling technology found in Sony's award-winning 1000X series, powered by a V1 processor. Press the ULT button to boost bass and feel the power of sound.

You're getting comfortable thermo-foaming ear cushions that mold to your ears, a swivel-fold design with a compact carry case for travel, and up to 30 hours of battery life with quick charging (3 minutes for 90 minutes of music). Beamforming mics ensure crystal clear hands-free calling.

Who This Is For

Best for: travelers, commuters, and anyone who wants premium noise canceling without paying flagship prices. These are ideal if you need solid ANC for flights or noisy environments and want the bass boost feature for music.

The Caveat

While these offer signature noise canceling from the 1000X series, they're not the absolute flagship model. The bass boost feature may be too much for audiophiles who prefer flat response.

Final Verdict

At $149.99, these are a strong buy for anyone needing premium noise canceling at a mid-range price. Wait if you can hold out for potential deeper discounts during major sales events, but this current price is well below the 30-day average.
