Samsung has announced the global launch of its latest Smart Monitor lineup, following the introduction of the M50C, M70C, and M80C models in South Korea last month. The company's new monitors are set to be available in key markets worldwide, although pricing details will be revealed individually with each country's availability announcement.

The Samsung Smart Monitor series comprises three models: M50C, M70C, and M80C. The M50C, positioned as the most affordable option, is offered in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. It features Full HD resolution, a peak brightness of 250 nits, HDR10 support, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 4ms response time (grey-to-grey), and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio.

Equipped with two HDMI 1.4 ports, two USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, and 5W+5W stereo speakers, the Smart Monitor M50C also comes with a remote controller that supports USB Type-C charging. It is compatible with the 100×100 VESA mount and is available in black and white color options. Additionally, it can control SmartThings-compatible smart home products using an additional USB dongle.

The Smart Monitor M70C features a 32-inch 4K screen, offering a peak brightness of 300 nits, HDR10 support, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 4ms response time, and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. It supports the 100×100 VESA mount, incorporates 5W+5W stereo speakers, and is available in the Warm White color variant. This model provides adjustments for height, pivot, and tilt, and includes one HDMI 2.0 port, one USB Type-C port (with 65W Power Delivery charging), and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports.

The flagship device in Samsung's 2023 Smart Monitor lineup is the M80C, featuring a 32-inch 4K screen with a peak brightness of 400 nits, HDR10+ support, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 3,000:1 aspect ratio, and a 4ms response time. It comes with built-in support for SmartThings, ZigBee, and Thread (Matter) connectivity protocols. The M80C will be launched in four colors: Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink, and Warm White. It incorporates two 5W stereo speakers and is bundled with a remote controller that supports USB Type-C charging. Additionally, it comes with a Slim Fit Cam.

All three models in the Smart Monitor lineup run on Tizen OS, providing compatibility with popular audio and video streaming services. They support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as AirPlay 2, Miracast, Samsung DeX, Multi View (allowing for two video streams), Samsung Gaming Hub, Microsoft 365, Workspace, and Google Meet video calling. The monitors are equipped with far-field microphones to enable voice commands for Bixby and Alexa.
